We work with reclamation yards across the UK to source the best materials at the best prices. Tropical hardwoods that were imported into the UK some 50+ years ago are our go-to choice of timber. They’ve aged, they’ve weathered, they’ve acclimatised and they have a lifetime of use in them still. Tropical hardwoods are upwards of 2x the density of the UKs hardest Oaks, meaning they are highly rot, water and fungal resistant.
