The plane has been disassembled, thoroughly inspected, cleaned, treated with a light application of Camellia Oil, and wrapped in dry brown paper ready to be shipped.

The plane has been disassembled, thoroughly inspected, cleaned, treated with a light application of Camellia Oil, and wrapped in dry brown paper ready to be shipped.
The iron itself is in great condition and has been sharpened with 10,000 grit whetstone and stropped to a mirror finish (as you can see in a few of the photos).
The sole has been smoothed to a flat finish, although there remain a couple of high points - happy to provide additional photos should you wish to inspect more closely. There is some pitting on the sole, but overall it's in great condition considering the age of this block plane.
